Flatty oil pressure
« on: July 14, 2006 12:54 pm »
Hey boyz, whats a ford flatty spose to have fur oil pressure,I've been playing wit my rpu again and finally threw some gauges in er. Idling its got about 7-10 lbs. It comes up  good when you rev it though, Been years since my last flatty and dont really remember what they carried. On a sadder note, my old buddy with the boneyard down the road passsed away Tuesday, gonna miss the cantancerous old dude. Just last month I drove him down to Mandan to look at some junk at a old junkyard , while we were there I found a manual tire changer laying in the weeds so I went back in to ask what they wanted fer it and the guy tells me 8 bucks. I go back to the pickup and Milt asks me what I gave em fer it, and I tell em 8 bucks. He looks at me and says "What are you some kind of GD jew?" Just the way he was, just always told things the way they were. I dont know whats gonna become of his place as his kid is not a car guy but is more of a metal salvage dude. Think its the end of another neat stash....later Weed

Thats too bad. Another one gone....

Hopefully you can convince his kid to buy it all at least at scrap price. "Its what his father would have wanted"

Yep, he went to the big salvage yard in da sky. I havent talked to Dave, but I see he's out there every night cleaning junk up around the yard. Afraid the county is going to be putting the heat on him here pretty soon...old zoning board in this county is getting to be to big fer their britches...---holes....                Weed
