Well I know it is a little more than just around the corner but I got a room booked.  

In 2006 Speed Week starts on the 12th of August.

I got my room through Orbitz.com at the Super 8. 1325 Wendover Blvd.

Aug 12-Aug 15 Room rate Sat $70 Sun $34 Mon $34 Tue $34

Estimated total cost: $171.99


I hope that the rates will stick. On Orbitz the Days in in $160 per night. I checked and the Motel 6 is booked.

Hope it dryes out by next year. The World Finals for 2005 which are next month ( Oct ) looks like they are not going to happen, as of today the place is under water. :cry:
