Hf type beadroller & throatless shear
« on: February 26, 2013 10:15 am »
Ok so after the taxes are back im thinking about getting a beadroller & throatless shear. I know the roller needs some stiffening & amotor would be nice. Luckys setup on his roller looks pretty slick. Does any one have an imported shear? I know there are a couple actual beverly shears in the club & I have used them before. How is the chinese one? I've heard that they are ok & for a quarter of the price of a beverly I can deal with ok.

I have a HF "beverly" shear and it has worked great for what I have used it for. I got it when I started on the Merc and it is still working as good as it did when I got it.

Yep I can take some pics of the bead roller.  Really just need to source a variable RPM AC motor and some chain and sprockets.  I also put a dimmer in line to speed or slow the feed.
