Had a great time even though I only had one day to be there.

It was great getting to chat with you Tom, I learned about Model ARs and got to talk to Aaron and his father a bit.

Jake your Ford is beautiful, can't wait to see it all finished.

Also met Deucekustoms, he was not having a good day.

where do i start... since i was still finishing the car up at 2am thursday I never really had much time to really work the bugs out, so I guess 50's was the time to do it... Thursday on the way down my throttle linkage came undone going down 94, and my water pump went out. friday I changed the pump, got to 50's and my right front brake was locked up, i was running hot already before that, so forcing my way thru the fairgrounds to find a parking spot put me at about 280 degrees...my radiator sounded like my horn honking!  after it cooled down i got the brakes adjusted and moved into the parking lot by the grandstand. saturday morning i pulled the RPV's off of my brake lines after finally figuring out that I didn't need them after all, as they were causing more harm than good anyways. leaking when they were cold and building pressure when they got hot. bled and re-adjusted my brakes, and pulled out my thermostat, and seemed to be going good, but got hot agian as soon as I got to the fairgrounds and before I parked there was coolant leaking into my cab and steaming up my windshield, damn heater core took a puke. once it cooled down i bypassed the heater core and I never broke 200 degrees the rest of the time, apparenty that solved my cooling issue. who knows. I made it home just fine, but I am sure glad I was staying at Titus and Jennies so at least I had a gargage, tools, and some help keeping my car alive this weekend.  it was definitely still a fun time, and hell would it be 50's without car trouble??? thats half the fun, seeing how good your MacGuiver skills really are!

oh and Tom... this was the first time I have seen your car in person, but IMO it looks 800 times better with the box!
