would imagine it is pot metal
not weldable i would imagine ,, JB weld, proabbly from inside so it dont show much

I would sell the carb and get another one. It would suck to have it start leaking when you are 100 miles from home.

Not an option with this one. It is HIGHLY modified and one of four.

Check Otto's welding in Moorhead. One of the guys there welded a crack in a piece of potmetal for my DeSoto's power seat unit.

The main body and the tops have been modified.
