I actually just looked at your add for it on the HAMB yesterday...not sure I want the headaches of a stock flathead again though.  Tell me more...

My LineChaser was in the mail at noon.  They had a new name for the Duluth show.  Saw a month or so ago that the Mpls. show would not be held this year.

Thanks for the post Pete. Not really interested in a more door unless it's a wagon. Keep your eye out for me though.  Thanks.   Jake

Still looking.

Wanted / Summer "Driver"
« on: January 16, 2012 3:51 PM »
Since the A won't be done this summer, I'm looking for a reliable driver 1964 and older. Not real concerned with body and interior, but don't want a rust bucket. Something safe that will cruise at highway speeds. Any make/model considered. Reasonably priced $5-7 grand range. $100 bill for a successful lead. PM or email me. Thanks...Jake.

I'm back on the "A". Redid the firewall, built the seat and riser, and made the '40 dash fit. Lot's of mock up right now...either that or build a wooden car....lol.

Great stuff! Parts 2 and 3 are on youtube. I love the pale yellow full fendered "A" on the cruise early in part 1.

Well the story of the '35 comes to a close for me. Sold it to a guy in Austrailia. Loaded on a transport this afternoon. Had lots of trade offers from the states and the usual low baller offers, but nothing really turned my crank. It's a pretty soft market right now if you watch th HAMB classifieds.

So it's back to the "A" that has been neglected too long.

A new radiator is always a tough call, but worth it in the long run. You'll be glad you got it. I'm guessing it's getting close to "fire up" time!?

Great stuff! Great coverage. Looks like you guys had a good time.  I haven't seen "Fish Scales" (other Ryans paint) since I put them on my Falcon Ranchero in '76. Thanks for the thread.  Jake

Eugene...everything you're selling looks like it will lead to heavy manual labor...I'm looking toward easier stuff for retirement!

Wow that seems like a good deal.

I know a couple guys that are using them and no problems.

Ross... I've got a distributor, ignition box, cap and wires out of a '77 302. Couldn't find the intake...must have used it for a boat anchor...

I searched all around that place and never did find your stuff.  Have you got a link?

I thought you were retired...or is that just tired?
