As you may or may not have noticed, this morning the server was down. The server got put behind a new firewall, and they didn't tell me about it, so it was offline until we could get things configured to allow traffic through to it again.
Seems there's construction EVERYWHERE these days. ;-)
-
As always, thanks Chris!!!!
-
Up down up down up down. Hopefully the firewall is configured correctly now and we'll be done with that until I move the server back home again.
-
Just tell them to put it behind an engine-turned panel and everything will be alright.
Shheesshh. Do I have to do ALL of the thinking around here?
-
I'm still having a little trouble. After I click to open it takes for every for the main page to open???
-
The suedes email account is also down.
Error connecting to IMAP server: localhost.
110 : Connection timed out
-
These should both be fixed now. Let me know if continue to have problems.

Yup, opened right up. Thanks.
-
When I click the announcement for the hot rod drags it takes forever to open. It is the only thing on the message board that is like that for me.
-
I have the same problem.
-
Interesting. Somehow Bolo's post broke the thread. Removed it and now it seems to be fine.
-
Poor Bolo, always at fault for something.
Thanks Chris!
-
Is this board running super slow today or it just me?
-
Super duper slow.
-
it was yesterday for me also
-
yesterday and today...tried 3 different computers...all the same...extremely slow.
-
Must be the weather. :)
Todd told me CJ is out of town too.
-
yep it slower than me ;)
-
Seems to be back today.
-
It's probably overloaded due to all the extra traffic caused by someones roadster build-up.
-
Yeah, I'm not sure if someone is trying to hack in or what the deal is yet. Not seeing anything out of the ordinary, so I've resorted to reboot the server a couple of times a day now until I can pin it down.
-
thanks-chris
-
yur the man, thanks for keeping it going. My english teacher always said, "Don't F#%* with your IT people, they stay up later than you do."
-
So that's what the deal was....I thought it was the weather...and then I thought it was due to the vibrations of the trains going by...that theory wasn't as likely though...
-
I think I nailed down some issues that we were having. Have speeds increased for everyone, or are some people still seeing issues at certain times of the day?
-
No problems for quite a few days now on this end.
-
Haven't had problems for a while, seems faster today to me though.
-
Working great CJ. Thanks for your expertise.
-
Yeah, working here at work. I'm not, however.
-
Yes it's workin' for me also, but the spellcheck IS NOT!!!
-
vdfi Tom djsio I fds; can't fdsk figure sljflds out jdkls what lsd you dkd are asdning saying, ndsi need dlepp spell dkwil check.
-
Right, and the spell check won't work ever again. The company that created it said that they are no longer going to develop for it. In fact, their web site isn't even responding any more, so I think they're completely shutting their doors. *sigh* The search is still on for a replacement, but all of them that I've found so far want to charge me something for usage. I would file that under CS.

Thanks Chris, when it comes to poor spelling I think Ross is still the champ!! :D
