Well I was thinking last night that I should either clean the shed or get to work on the olds motor to see if I could free it up to remove the transmission. I have had this thing soaking with Gibbs in the cylinder holes for a couple of months and no luck in getting it to move. There was mouse piss in the #1 when I removed the head and I cleaned it up best I could. I was unable to get any leverage on the balancer to try and rotate the motor. So this morning I went out and removed the lower half of the bellhousing so I could get access to the flywheel. I got the old pry bar on the teeth of the flywheel and between the bellhousing and with just a little leverage was able to get it to pop free. WOOHOO..... So this is a Good Day, I now wish I would have done this months ago. Now I can finally remove the transmisson and get this up on the engine stand.
Anyway its been kinda slow on here so I thought I would post this.
