So I talked to Dad yesterday...and found out that he had some serious bad luck coming home from GSTA show in the Cities. He lost control of the pick-up while passing a semi. The real problem was that he was trailering the 36 and the car broke loose inside the trailer. The car ended up bouncing off of the trailer walls and smashing the hell out of the running boards and fenders. He sounded just sick when he told me. So the insurance adjuster came out and is gonna get back to Dad in a day or two. The good thing is that Curt Leslie is gonna get started right away on repairing the damage. Sucks since Dad just got the car back on the road after repainting and bodywork.

Damn. thats a bummer. you should come back and help your old man recover.

I guess that's another downfall of hauling on a trailer. ;-)

Thought I would update.....I talked to Dad yesterday and he said that Curt is making some real progress. The fenders are already almost repaired, and should be ready for paint this week. The only hold-up is that Bob Drake only hammers out running boards after so-many are ordered. So when Dad will get the new boards is anyone's guess. Dad sound much relieved, and excited to attend Suedes events. :)
