Title: WTB: A frame
Post by: Briggs&Stratton on September 08, 2005 5:31 am
Howdy

A friend of mine is starting on a 32 chevy pickup hot rod project, and he is at the point where he is needing a chassis before he can go much farther.  The 32 chev cab that he has was from a truck, so the frame is a little on the beefy side.  He isnt particular what the frame is from, just so it is roughly the same size/shape of a 20s-30s car (say, like a model A).  A perfect frame isnt absolutely necessary.  A little crooked or rusty is fine, as long as it is savable without a huge amount of effort.

a rolling chassis would probably also be fine, but he is likely going with a suicide front end with ford axle/spindles/brakes etc.

Have anything?  Any leads?  Give me a holler and i'll relay him the info.

Thanks
Chris

Steve Larson (toppers member) at United Electric in Fargo had one that he wanted $100 for.

Do you remember what it was from?

Think he would mind if I called him at United?
