This was in a classifieds paper we have here, people in the area send in their old photos and they have a different one each week on the cover.  This was taken in 1940.

Huh......... there were two threads on the HAMB yesterday with pics of a 34 Sedan from ND that had the same treatment. It is for sale on ebay.

Now im not a mathematician by no means, but 60 years ago, wouldnt that have been 1945, and if he made it in 1947 to go to town, how did it sit for over 60 years?

So, he never actually drove it into town?  After the trouble with snow in 45, he just left it parked in his barn, and by '47 he built it, and it just sat in the barn.  It must have just sat for 2 years in the barn bone stock. hehe
