So as I was possiblely footin my mouth in my boot at kats kampout but I want to have the Mrs' wagon at karen & bolo's nuptuals next spring.
My plan is get it running & stopping / safe for heidi & the kids next summer. Then paint & finish later.
So the list of things right now is:
Front disks & steering rebuild
Rearend rebuild
302/aod
Seats recovered (need front buckets)
Fix any floor rust
Then if i dont run outa time/ money get a solid coat of primer & paint the roof & body line thats under the midle trim

Dont have ano idea on a Drivetrain for ya Ross, Sorry, the old cop car that had the carb 302/OD is long gone...
-
Thats cool I'll find one. I also need to find a set of 14s. So those are the 3 big things I need to find currently wheels- seats & driveline
-
I was talking to Chad tonight and he's got my TIG welder, he was going to try building up your main journals and see if they can't bore it out.

Good Looking Wagon. That will make a nice cruiser.
I got an AOD for you. Came out of a '93 T-Bird. Non-Electronic, it ran and drove good when it was pulled. I will give you a good deal on it and even deliver it to Fargo. The Windsor I can't help you with as I don't have an extra one laying around.

Well the wagon is in my drive way & the 302 is on my garage floor. The motor is suposed to have between 5 & 10 thousand on a rebuild. But its been sitting since 91.
-
Go man go!
-
I hope thats not rust on the intake mating surface?
-
Red silicone
-
definitely moving in the right direction
-
Got the topend off tonight. 7 cylenders look damn nice no ware or grooving. The pistons were.stamped 30 over. But the rear passenger side had surface rust but didn't look like any pitting. So if I can get it the rest of the way apart I should be golden
-
The motor is looseish. I cant rotate it all the way around but the last piston is unstuck. So it will have to come out the bottom once its on the stand.
