Title: Back to the 50's campground

just got my application for the north campground. anybody else camping there?

I have camped in Roger/elk river.  camped in st. anthony about 5-6 years ago. they are ok but i like watching the animals on snelling.   plus its nice to be able to run back to the camper  when needed.

I wish it was like the old days where you could pack as many campers and cars into a spot as possible. But still if I was camping at the fairgrounds I would prefer the north one.

I miss the old days in the north campground. Was a blast. I've been in the south one the last four years and it's ok. Have some good times. I got the email that said they would have the north one finished up by the end of the month and hopefully I'll get the application for the south one in a week or so. Kind of torqued me off that they said they would email out the sign up email at 8pm the 15th and did it at 3pmk! Thankfully I checked my email at 4 and got the reply in.

they said the north campground email would go out at around 8 pm   i got it at 8:03.  had it sent back to them by 8:06.

I liked the First come first serve better..   this Email times and crap is too easy to abuse.  Its back to the Who knows who bullshit.

Looks like ill be back to finding a hotel room....

We are planning on the south campground.  My registration email must have gotten lost in cyber space.  I didn't get it until midnight.

whats with pre-registration ? the msra web site says pre-registrtion has to be received by april 29 no exceptions--but
when you go the the registration site, it says the pre-registration is closed!!!  wtf is going on????? any one have a legit answer. i did not register a car last year so i did not get a form for this year, is that whats happening.

I got my form in the mail, pre-registration is open till April 29 just like past years. I believe the price is $30.00 like the last couple of years.
 
Do they have a form that you can print out?
 
I went to the web site, all you have to do is print of the form and send it in.

tom, i just tried again and there is a form. it also said that late registrion was $60 and the site i was at before said $50
so i bet i got on last years site. yeh ,i know, computer savvy--thats me!!

i just went on the msra site and went right to the registration form.  if your looking for the campground form thats over and done. for the campground you had to be on the mailing list.

Got my south campground invoice email today.  Now just have to mail it in with the check.  Nice to know I got a space.
