that was a neat  video
last year we drove the invicta wagon the 2,000 miles to Santa Maria, it was a adventure.  wife wanted to go through Colorado and hit snow storms at Aspen and Vail in May, but for us  what was new with that , when we got to california we started to clean up the car it was a dirty mess. stayed at a friend and then went to winfields shop for a short visit and then on to santa maria, got there about 3 days early and cleaned the car every day. there was sand   in the air that got on the car daily so a wash was needed. we did go to the ocean one day and drove around before the show
we did the banquet and the induction ceremony and also did the cruise
we did go by 3 time on the viedeo that Toshi did and posted several places, like facebook
we took a different route back to avoid mountains and the car did a OK job of keeping going. I am trying to get another car going to do it again but am not getting much done all it needs is fix interior, engine and trans, air cond, body and paint. most of the shows I am doing now take 8 days a trip so I am soon starting on the next car but being old and slow is not good. I did update the roadster and fixed a lot the last time it was driven was in 2009 so it needed a  bunch of carb work too

Rod Reetz was a 100% restorer. He has two model a roadsters that are stock and a `34 two door resto street rod.  I gave him a ride in my `28 roadster. He now has built a `28-29 roadster with a 60hp flat head and the coupe you see in the video with the overhead conversion. He also chopped the top on the coupe which was something he would never have done like 10 years ago. I like to think I may have influenced him a little.
