i was seriously planning on going, but i have to work that weekend.  Although i am starting to seriously plan a Lonestar Roundup Trip.

serious....that is going to happen if I can make it work...if not then vintage torque fest.  I am not positive i could make it to detroit...but didn't know if the car guys around here would be up for it.

I have driven the `40 there about 5 years ago. This time some of my Bismarck budies and I are planning to rent a van.

I have driven the `40 there about 5 years ago. This time some of my Bismarck budies and I are planning to rent a van.

A VAN?????!!!!!!!!  Better be '65 or older. Have a good time. Wife and I are headed to GNRS in a couple of weeks. Can't wait.

Vintage Torque Fest is a blast.  I am also hoping to make Detriot - just need a place to sleep if it does all work out.  Anyone going through Chicago on their way to the Roundup? :)

I know that guy with that a-coupe with the nailhead that was at the drags a couple years ago is going down and they may be going through chicago.

Yup, they took a couple cars down last year think they are taking more this year.

Take in a Cubs game?  See the Sears tower? Pick up Rocket?  Go to Navy Pier?  Go to Millennium Park?  See the Sky Deck?  Any one of those reasons really.
