I know its still a ways off, but I am just curious who all from Suedes-land is planning on making the trek down to the Pileup this year?

 the new location is about 9 hrs (non-hotrod/kustom time) from Minneapolis. I am going to push to have the Poncho completely sea-worthy by then, and drive it down, but only time will tell. it would be nice to meet up with you guys in the cities and Karavan the rest of the way down there/back.

Decatur IL. 928 Miles.........  Morris was 858 miles. The Suedes have I think a total of 4 rooms at the headquarters motel ( which is now full)

I'm in. I plan on taking the '40.  Of course, that was the plan last year.... I'll just have to keep it under 70 the whole way.

thats awesome to see all of you are going... I don't have a hotel room, but on the HAMB they mentioned that they were looking into having camping available on site (apparently there is way more than enough room) so if thats the case I will probably just do it up BTT50's style, or just sleep on my sofa of a back seat.

someone also mentioned that the farmers almanac claims its going to be 78 and sunny all that weekend. lets keep our fingers crossed.

I'm embarrassed to admit however that I don't have Sirius Satellite Radio in the '40, so no Elvis or Conway Twitty.

Sounds like the '40 is getting crowded.  Two guys on the springs in front and 2 guys sitting on the floor in the rear.  :lol:

Thanks for the encouragement guys! First I'll take care of the side windows.  We should be able to get carpet and a pair of seats whipped up in a month and a half, shouldn't we Jake?  I can put the side panels and headliner in it later....

yeah, i am sure I will be finishing my brakes on my pontiac the day before 50's, that shit happens every year. but thrashing to get done makes the weekend so much better when you get to relax and cruise.

I have... and I've been collecting the parts to do it.  Is this the year it will all get done?  I'll do my best to make sure it is...
