There's one on the HAMB right now - $275.

ouch.
-
yeah, I am looking for one that is not made of unobtanium.
-
I'll ask Duane Skarbic from California if he has any.
-
Thanks
-
Is this a small or large logo 81.
-
If it is a large logo it would be on the side of the carb just like a large logo 97.
-
Tom, the more I look at your carb I think that is a Holley and not a Stromberg. It is tough to tell from that side but I think it is.
-
Your right........is that bad???
-
It will work fine.....just worth about $200 less than a Stromberg 81.
-
Oh.........you mean I have to pay someone to take it. :(
-
If you do the math Tom it's still worth $45... if it's rebuilt...

tom is this like yours.
Yes.. but I don't think mine has model 92 on the side. I'm going to have to check it out. Thanks.

Yes, I checked it out. Has all the same numbers.
-
let us know what is cast into each side and I'll look in my book and tell you what the year/model is. Some had FORD, FOMOCO, Holley, Chandler Groves or a model # cast in one side and #'s or letters or nothing in the other side. I think there were about a dozen different styles offered from '38-'53.

Holley Model 92, came off a '39-'40 60HP V8 if anyone cares.
