Title: 1933 Chevy Roadster
Post by: Tom on June 30, 2009 5:16 pm
A friend sent me this.

John says he wants to sell the roadster, the budget says one hot rod at a time and he wants to keep the 4 dr. It's a Right hand drive, made in Argentina, dual side mounts, luggage rack, and rumble seat. Asking what we paid, $12,000.00

He bought it last year at Loveland CO Goodguys. He saw it come in to the swap meet and was the 1st one in line. He didn’t have much time to think about it as the line was getting longer.

Yeah…………I thought about it. If I was to build a Chevy roadster `33 to `35 ( last year ) would be what I would want, anything earlier than `33 I don’t like the look. `28 to `34 Ford are the ones I like best, with `35-`36 second and then the Chevys.

Next thing you know, you'll put a Ford motor in one too.....

That's sweet.  wish I was thirty and had the dough.  Initial purchase price is a killer!

I have one with a Ford motor, which I built following your lead.

Right now my idea of a kick ass roadster would be a `30-`31- on `32 rails with a `32 grill shell with a custom insert made with horizontal bars out of stainless tubing.
