Title: "The Rock 57 Chev Tail"
Post by: JakesBackyard on April 06, 2009 1:48 am
Found this on craigs list.  A little spendy at $1250.  Brings back some great memories of the bar.  It was "the place" in Fargo in the late 70's, early 80's. Probably too long ago for some of you.

I remember picking apart the ragtop T-bird sitting inside after several cocktails.

I seem to remember that it was the "Rockin 50's" in it's early years and was the "Rock" in it's last years. Is that right?

That would be some cool wall art. Really if you start pricing some of that 57 stuff it's not that over the top $$. I find myself paying more for tri five stuff for the old ladies wagon than I pay for my junk. I guess it's that tri five name that gets ya.

Danced to many ABBA songs on both those dance floors...

We have a green, high-top table and 4 chairs from the place. Mac's was selling them about 3-4 years ago. It resides in Eyeball's garage.
