I would like to see it refinished if someone gets it.
Now 10 years ago I would have agreed with you. But now I would leave it as is and only fix whatever it needs to be safe to drive.
I'm glad I got to see it.
-
I bet it will not sell. I would love to have it but like Tom would only change what need to be updated.
-
johnnycola was trying to trade his Merc for that car at the Pileup. Wonder if he'll figure out a way to get it.

Oh, and one of you guys should probably send Patrick a message on ebay asking him if he'd part with his '30 Plymouth coupe, damned thing is about 20 minutes away from being drivable and it's been sitting for like 2 or 3 years...got a sweet caddy motor in it, Titus did some work for him on it and I think all it needed was some engine wiring to make it drivable...how's that for a tip?

Thanks for the tip! I have that exact intake already and I don't think Ryan will be building a 303 any time soon. That intake is for a 303 only and they definately don't fit 324's. Ryan and I learned the hard way: one of those $500 experiments. So then, do I sell it, probably for a loss, or spend more money to build a 303 around it. I'll try door number two cuz any excuse to build an engine is a good one.
-
When I got my edmunds it came off a 324, there is a trick to it.
-
. . . really. We should chat about that. I can see the intake ports on the head when I set the intake on ryan's 56 324.

All you need is a little help from a-dapter kit :P

http://fargo.craigslist.org/pts/1232950115.html
J2 intakes aren't all that rare unless you have the tripower carbs too. A lot of people must have taken them off back in the days.
Pete, you need that 471 intake!
-
apparently on the factory J-2 intake, the 2 secondary carbs only worked via vacuum which worked great for awhile, but then were hard to tune and would get stuck from carbon, etc. Many people just took the outer 2 carbs off and blocked them off. Also, some came from the factory with 3x2 intakes with block off plates on the outer two. Just filling orders. . . and yes, I do need that blower intake.

We are looking for height-challenged female(s) (as in midget, dwarf, munchkin, little person, just don't know the correct non-offensive terminology) to help run our fantasy football draft. We will be 10 males in a suite at the Mirage drafting for four hours on August 29th starting sometime in the late afternoon.
Your duties will be to make sure none of us run out of frosty beverages, to keep track of players taken on an oversized draft board (step stool included), and to wrestle under a glass table while either partially clothed or not clothed at all (this is why we would prefer more than one of you). Bonus points if you know something about football, know how to mix drinks, and enjoy making sure everyone is having a good time. We promise we will not degrade you by using your head for a coaster, nor will we expect any special favors as we value professionalism over anything.
Last year when I posted this ad we received an offer from a female who simply had no legs, which I determined to be cheating. So please, only true little people apply.
If interested, please respond by Friday. And don't worry about bringing anything as we will supply beverages, glass table, and rainbow with pot of gold.
Craigslist ad but I don't have a link where it came from. I laughed.

with the cost of Doors, and fixing the rest you ould almost be better off spending the mony for for a brookville.
