actually it was.....shit I just put a sticker on it and look it has a ball milled billet valve cover.......it was home made but the sticker came off. It was in the show later in the day with duct tape over the cover..... he should have put duct tape on the grill too.

It came through my line and I was VERY suspicious of what was under the duct tape. I called over one of the Czars to make the call. Ended up to be "like draping a coat over a billet steering wheel." He was let in.

Aww thanks Tom. The Comet was great on the way home. I circled out and around and came back down from the north into the city since the Chicago Marathon (which my roommate finished!) was in full swing by the time I was rollin' through. I had no stops at all. it was perfect. I was home and layin' on the couch by noon. I felt bad for you guys :( Long drive. But all is well. I'm taking my car up to Wisconsin this weekend for storage at my dad's house. Then I can stop worrying about it til next year.

My faves of course were the Champion headed, kinmont braked 32 with the perfect grille guard, but the grungy model A coupe was a close, close 2nd. Loved the sunset beanfield picture opportunity.

Haha....classic....GI Joe.
The Pileup was the best one yet. The weather had allot to do with it. The new bar was great and having Lone Star was almost too much to handle ......... well it was too much for one of our members. :) The show was great too, I was in the swap most of the day but got out to the show a few times. Seeing cars in the grounds that we turned away in the morning is always a disappointment but I don't know how to fix that.
