Looking for a 39-48 banjo rear. Looking for one with a good surface where the outter bearings run.

I've got a '46-'48 rear, no bones or spring but everything else is there, don't know what shape the bearing surface is like, $75. Its here in moorhead.

If you don't find one with good outer ends, they make sleves that will go over the end. You do need to turn end down for them to press on.

I turned mine down and put the sleeves on. Worked relatively  well. The first one did anyways. . . but .001 interference is no match for a hammer and a block of wood as long as the sleeve is still warm. ;)

I have a 39 without brakes and drums.  I picked it up at the roadster swap last year for $50 and I don't know why, maybe because it came out of a barn stored car with about 60,000 miles on it and I figured someday Eyeball would need one.  It looks pretty nice.  I had it sold in Bismarck, but no show on the buyer.

$50 or trade for ???

No torque tube or shaft.

I'm still up in the air on the Swap.  I haven't nailed the day off yet.

I'll be in touch.
