who does it? I'd like to call them and ask them how stripped down the engine block has to be, threads, etc. and how much it costs. I was planning on throwing my flathead away because it looked rough, but I won't be able to sleep at night if I don't know that it is truly cracked up.

What??????!!!!!!!!! Don't throw it away, even if it is shot. Coffee table maybe? That's what I'm planning on doing with some of mine. I have heard that you can run steel shot through a regular sandblasting cabinet and do it yourself, if you have access to one that is. Haven't tried it yet myself though. Good luck!

RacerJ, Call Wayne Ruud at Quality Engine, he has someone that does it, i just about did it to my FE. He had a block there that had been done, looked like it was Brand New.

They do look brand new, thats why I kinda wanted it done for crack inspection. I was spoiled down in Alexandria with mostly new casting stuff. Its so pretty! Paint looks so much nicer when its been blasted too.
I figured Wayne would know, just checking if anybody else knoew anything about it. Thanks Aaron.

Haha, you can have it if its shot I'm not going to be able to get away with a flathead coffee table, no matter how pretty I make it.
