I made it down to Joplin with my girlfriend and Wowcars, all of us our first HAMB Drags. We had a great time, met a lot of people - even rode in nosurf's Impala convert while Tuck got his "gangster-lean" on. Here are a few pics, I'm sure Ryan will supply even more.

Man that thing looks huge now.....I made it to the first one but that was more like the Hot Rod Drags, I see Coker had their truck there too were there alot of vendors?

There were a few vendors and a few swap spots during the drags. Most of the vendors were the the sticker/tshirt type.
I had a blast, but my camera got all wonky and I lost a lot a photos, alot of the Suicide King.

The weather? HOT, humid and a bazillion LARGE insects that I'm sure was intent on eating most of the HAMB in the LaQuinta parking lot. It was disgusting. But not enough to keep us from going in until 6am. :D

Thanks for the pics.....I am still in Missouri so I hope to have my pictures and video up from the HAMB drags and the Springfield,MO swap. IT was a dang good time and met a lot of good people.

It was hotter than hell the day of the Drags, and the Indy guys took their tent down WAY too fast since none of their cars were up to par that day. So there went my shade. Not as hot as years past I've heard though. I just don't handle hot well.

For the record, Wowcars only stays up late when I force him to. He kept trying to puss out, JUST LIKE at the pileup last year. But I'm just too much fun. So he stayed up. Oh yeah and I whined whenever he said he was going to go to bed. So that helped.
