I have found a 37 Plymouth coupe body for free. No front sheet metal or frame. I was told that Chevy metal will match up fine and would be easier to find (not sure if that is true). Any advice on this one. It does have rust on the doors and below the rear deck lid, but it is free. Is it worth picking up? Thanks.

I can't imagine that a Plymouth and a Chevy sheetmetal would 'match up' without a ton of work, then everybody would just think it was a Chevy. I would GET IT, work on the suspension and drivetrain while you find the correct front sheetmetal. Keep your eyes peeled, once you have a car, you find a lot more of em.

Yeah, I would think it would be a lot of work. I could see a Chev and an Olds (or some other GM), but a Plymouth?

The chevy thing did not sound correct. I will pick it up and hang on to it. You never know.

If nothing else, you could turn around and sell if for some $ on ebay.
