I'm sure most of you have seen the pic of this car in front of the speed shop but this one is even better!

Tim, note the rear tire on the roadster. Keep that in mind for this weekend.

Yes, it was a great time to be alive. Now you young guys will have it made in another 10 to 15 years when us old guys start kickin' off. You will be able to pickup our rides for penneys on the dollar. That is if you'll still be able to get gas for them. :(
-
We'll refine the DEI system by then!!!! :D
-
I love the idea.........

am i missing something on that rear tire?

Size, we tend to think back in the day they were 7.50 X 16". I'm guessin' sixhundred or six fifty was more common.
-
If I had to guess I would say that car has 6.00 in front and 7.00 in back. I remember a post a long time ago on the HAMB that a guy was talking to an old time hot rodder from back in the day and he said they would never go more that one full size bigger for the rubber rake. ie 6.0's and 7.0's or 5.5's and 6.5's.
-
What about power loss? I know on the lakes thay ran as big as they could, but for street driven I would think not.
-
Definitely two different roads to go down, depending on if you were out to win at the track or at the indoor arena. :)
