Title: ET center caps
Post by: tracywiedrich on May 16, 2008 3:56 pm
I'm looking for two E.T center caps with the five little screws that hold it on. I believe these wheels are E.T II's from the seventies. If anybody knows if they make em new lemme know also...thanks Weed

do some internet searches.  Keith and I got some from Californicate a few years ago.  They were plastic, but cheap.

Yeah, I did do a search and I think I might have found some...the dude that owns the place was on vacation and his chinese machinist tried to help me but we seem to have had a failure to communicate , anyway ,the owner will be back Monday so I'll have to try again..

Tracy let me know what you find, I have been looking for some too. The ones I found close but you would need to file out the holes to make them fit.

Found some at Roughrider in Bismarck. Started talking to one of the owners about lugnuts and mentioned I couldnt find center caps and he says I got some of those...We tried em on Toms rims and they were off a smidgeon, but they seem to work o.k. Really makes a improvement...

They looked like they would be a little misaligned like yours but I temporarily screwed em right on with sheetmetal type screws. I think with the regular type screw thread they would prolly not go on as well. They sure add a lot to the rims...

On a set I had I used a small round file to open up the holes a bit and once the screws were on you could not tell. I was had american caps on ET rims.
