There must be a reason why they called them "emergency brakes" back then compared to "parking brake" now, so I guess I should have them.
So, does anybody have two pieces of hardware for inside each of the rear drum brake assemblies that attaches to the shoes?
Then, does anybody know where to find a cable kit that will work for the basically stock style emergency brake system.
Also, Does anybody have a cool ratcheting hand brake lever with release that I could purchase?
So, I basically need the whole system. If there's a cable kit system out there, that'd be cool. Thanks ahead of time.

Racer J........what rear end did you use??
-
You can get everything from Mac's or Early Ford. Vintique also makes a 32 E brake handle......but it is chrome.

I'd prefer an original handle and mechanism if thats possible, I hear one has to find the two pieces for inside the drum used because they don't make them new.
Tom, I have the original banjo open drive rear and brakes.
Ross, thank you, i couldn't remember that website. I'll be getting that kit for cables and such.
old brake lever and drum e-brake hardware anybody?

Pete...I might have one of the brake levers that mount on the shoe. I'll look tonight.

thank you.

When I needed the brake lever for mine I needed one for a 36. I put a wanted up on Ford Barn and had 4 or 5 to choose from by the end of the day.
