He's the guy they credit with the billet look. The 1st thing I remember him makin' out of aluminum was windshield post for his '28-29 roadster

built some nice bikes too. Lots of powercoated billet. Late 90's stuff. Remember them in my dad's easyriders when I was 14 or so!

Lil John was my greatest mentor during the eighties when I had just gotten outta body school... my buddy and I spent many a late night in the shop bench racing and discussing the neat stuff Lil  John was incorporating in his builds. He ranked right up there with the likes of Jake as one of my favorite builders from back then...really makes me feel old when I see all these good fellows passing on....Weed
