I am in NEED of a good radiator for a '56 Olds and a fan for the same.
However I need it ASAP so I can get to The 50's Tuesday night.
Call my cell @ 218-779-2271 Thanks

Am I to assume the fan ate the radiator??

Try Al's in Glyndon.

The fan ate the battery and spit it out into the radiator. Must have not liked the taste of battery acid.

Oh shit.......so you need a battery too?? To bad we live 200 miles apart, I got a batt I could give you.

Is the fan special. I think any aftermarket or factory one for a GM will work. Take the radiator to either Fargo Radiator (joe) or Moorhead Radiator (Les) and get it cored. You will be just crossing your fingers getting a used one.

Good advice!!!

Unfortunately a recore would take a week, and I leave Tuesday night. If I get a used one I can get it checked and cleaned in a day and some places may do it over the weekend. The fan isn't a special one I am sure almost any will work.

Buchanan Radiator, 252-1273.
It's a small shop but he does good work, tell him Tyrel Manley told ya to try there. He may be able to get it done for ya if he doesn't have a bunch of work right now. I don't know how common the core is but if a place there has it in stock maybe see about getting it and having him do the work.
He delivers mail daily and this is a side job for him, so he does it lots of nights and weekends.

My uncle has about 5 of those cars, he probably has something for you. His name is David Osten and his number is 218-863-5205. Lives west of Pelican Rapids. Doesn't like to sell much until his 55 super 88 is done, but you may be able to borrow or maybe buy. Hope something works out for you.
