Title: steering box needed 48 chevy

I have a need for a stock steering box for a 48 chevy car . Anyone have a line for one or know a company that might sell rebuilt ones ? The box doesnt need to be perfect just better then the one I have ...

Would a suburban box be the same? I MIGHT have one out of a '46. I'll look.

I should have one for a 46 and one for a 47, both passenger car coupes.  Im guessing its the same as 48?  Neither are rebuilt, but both work, and I drove one of them for a couple years before I subframed.

Thanks guys . I was able to find one out of a 41 chev coupe . I think its the same .   chevs of the 40s lists rebuild kits for 41 to 48 chev as the same
