I remember reading about an accident on the lake at night when a coupe hit some rocks. The young lady riding in the middle of the car was impaled on the shifter and I think there were other fatalities also. I believe this must be that coupe. :(

 Note rear tire missing, I heard stealing was also a big problem

I also have heard the tale of cars being stripped of all the usable stuff and then just left abandon out there.

Those are some great pics...I heard that also Eyeball..after an accident they were scavengers...
