Title: Chopped Flop Top
Post by: Eyeball on November 29, 2006 6:31 pm
So I guess this may be directed at Tom since you have some experiance with it.

These are the new top irons I can get from LeBaron Bonney. I will need them cut down at least 3".

Where do you cut em or do you want to help me with em when I get to that point?

NEW TOP IRONS..... Wow..............I ain't never cut up new top irons, always some old rusty POS the never came off the car I'm fitting it to.  You have chopped cars so you know how it works, the only difference is it has to fold. (duh!!)  We can talk about it when you come out for the NDSRA meeting, cause it wold take shit pot full of typing.

Irons, header and two bows should do it. Maybe some ss screws. We can go over that too when you come out

The car I was thinkin of is on that post. Carl Orr's top is perfect. I regret not chopping  more out of my 28 roadster.
