I'll vouch for the "they are still out there" Today on my little venture, I found probably the best finds so far. Within 5 miles of my house I found (not all in the same spot) a '60 Chevy, 2 '55 Olds both with motors, a '57 Ford wagon on its roof, a 2 dr. Corvair, an early Montgomery Ward motorized bicycle and a complete early 30s Buick coupe. BUT! The best finds of the day, a '39 Merc ragtop, (and it is a REAL convertible.) and to top it all off, one nice 30-31 Model A roadster, with split bones on stock rails with a NAILHEAD in it! Unfortunately the roadster and Merc aren't for sale (yet) I'll be going to pick up the bike this week sometime, tho. Not a bad afternoon after workin on the Stude until I couldn't anymore. Hopefully I can go back and snap some pics.

How did you working on the Studebaker go?  Did you get a lot done?  I thought you were going to call me.  To help you.  I was home all weekend for the most part.

Sure--on the HAMB eberhama wants to make friends with overspray (of course he doesn't catch me at Topper's) and now there's the coupe to go on the floorpan and frame sitting in my backyard!!  
I have cash---and lots of ammo, it could go either way. :wink:

I'm right here, I have no idea what anyone is talking about.  I try to saty out of the loop now.  It is much safer for me and easier for everyone else.  I think people like it this way.
