Title: How to overcome sellers remorse……..
Post by: Eyeball on October 25, 2006 4:10 pm
Well as some of you know I sold the A sedan a little over a week ago. It is however still in my garage waiting for transport.
I picked this up last weekend. Plans are to have it on the road for spring. It is a 30 cowl and what I believe is a 28-29 back and doors possibly cabriolet.
Thanks to Serious for the pics.

Here are a few pics of when I picked it up. Nice guy about 75 years old. Has been a restorer for ever but wanted a hot rod but never did finish it.

Nice find. I had noticed your A for sale a week or so ago. The guy you bought the new A from sure has some prime stuff!
Do I notice some shine to the new "A"?
I know you'll do a great job finishing it.

The body is PAINTED and will stay that way unless I damage it too much finishing it. I mainly have to rework the frame but I also need to get some type of windscreen on it. I will more than likely end up with some type of Duvall but fitting and mounting it to a painted car may be interesting.

It is set up for SBC so I am planning on the 327 that is currently in the bi-five. I think I will hang on to the 4 speed and put an auto into it.

Yea I just have to see how much the floor is tied into the firewall. If it is too much apart of the car it will just stay.

Sorry Eyeball, that doesn't look like a '32 roadster. Try again. By the way real hot rods have THREE pedals!!!!!!
