i need one.
-
I checked to see if you posted on the HAMB, didn't see that you did. Maybe should you should try there also.
-
My uncle has a '46-48 Poncho fastback in his yard, I can see if he has a driveshaft/yoke for it.
-
Am I to assume the 1939-1951 PONTIAC, OLDSMOBILE 1941 to 1950 are all open drive then. Cuz I know chev was closed at least through 48.

. Cuz I know chev was closed at least through 48.
Through '54.
-
Now is this stick only or will auto also work?
-
i won one off ebay again and this should be it, I will have to wait and see. 27 bucks. if it works its better than going to johnsons for 4 hours and jacking up a car and trying to get it out. Johnsons told me the 41 through 50 olds are the same. And the ebay add i found had those pontiac years listed along with the olds.
so far i have about 60 bucks in yokes.
-
The book listed only one slip yoke so I am assuming the are the same.
-
yo, there is a guy in Fergus Falls that specializes in olds and pontiacs from those years. Probably has 40-50 cars. Name is Gaylord Rachels and number is 218-736-2622
-
thanks
-
Damn, I didn't even think of Rachels. He's got a great yard to snoop through. Everything is mowed between and kept up nice. Almost like an outdoor museum of tin indians.
-
well wowcars how come you havent invited us down there for a day of snooping.
-
Its about a 2 hour drive north up by Thief River. I'm going up there the 23rd for a reunion, I'll take some pics of what he's got then. I know the crusher just went through, but he never crushes anything old or good.
-
i think he meant at gaylord's place
