Model A Xmember and Frame Horns
« on: December 06, 2006 11:14 PM »
So since I made the body cart from an A frame, I have L&R 40" horns and a nice (no cracks) rear Xmember. The left rail had been bent at one time and is a little twisted, but the horn is nice.  The right one is good.  Best offer or trade for something interesting.

I would like the rear crossmember if someone else wants the rails. Ryan may be interested in them. I have nothing interesting as far as I know so PM me a price tag. I'll buy it all if you don't want to split it up.

I would be interested in the frame horns.  PM me a price if you please.  Sorry I don't have anything worth trading right now, unless you need a '61 Fairlane    .

This could really get fun.  I'm really trying to turn a paper clip into a house! (I'm sure you heard that story a while back.) Put that creativity to work here.  I have one and a half new painted bare walls in my garage just yearning for new conversation pieces. And I'll split up the pcs. And I won't take any PPG posters...I have all 10. Also no risque posters...my wife says they're not good for the grand kids to see. And I'm not sure what a SBC is.....there might be one in a car in my garage, but it isn't mine....

HEY - I just thought of something I need....10"X5"Xany depth gas tank off of like a snowblower or old Briggs engine...NOT the kind that bolts to the carb....need the one with a cap on top and outlet on the bottom...usually has some sort of bracket off the top or side to bolt to engine...mount not really important...has nothing to do with a car....I'm remodeling an old Arctic Cat for ice fishing.....

Someone must have one laying behind the garage...

I'll let someone try and trade you for what they need if they got one, but if not I've got quite a few sitting around the farm in the old buildings.

damn, and the only bent frame rail I have is the left one!!!!!!  I think.

I do need a rear crossmember (mine is cracked in half) and I'll challenge Eyeball to a thumb war for it. I'll even give him an ignition coil.

For trading, I have a cool chrome goose or some sort of bird hood ornament thats kinda cool, and I have a smokey yunick piston blank.

Maybe we could get that thumb wrestle on video, post it here and the winner takes all! That right there would be a great trade.

Antibling...when are you going to get close to Fargo? You could drop off one of those tanks. You never know....you could then be selling A frame parts. Or I'd just pay for the tank.

I will have to forfeit the match do to a disability. :)  :D

It is amazing what you can find on the net.

Seriously if Mr. Johnson (Pete) is in need of it I will step aside and let him trade for it.

It looks like Mr. Johnson has come up with a deal  on a gas tank for the A frame parts.(sorry Ryan, you'll have to deal with him on the horns.)

This has been fun, thanks everyone.  I may have to dig up some more stuff to trade off on here.

 :)
