Title: DL Cruise Night!

Got word from Myron Dybing that Detroit Lakes is going to be doing a monthly cruise night. It will be held on the 2nd Wed of each month starting on June 8th. Run from 4pm - 9pm. They will have West Lake Drive changed to a one way from about Zorbaz on.

Drive your favorite 'CRUISER' to Detroit Lakes for a fun evening. The first ever "Cruise D.L. Night" will happen Wednesday June 8, 2011 from 4 to 9 p.m. The event will take place on the second Wednesday of each month, May through September.
Special parking by the beach for your 'CRUISER'. Walk the beach, dine at the local restaurants or just relax in your lawn chair and watch the classic cars drive by.

WHEN: June 8th, 4 to 9 pm

WHERE: Along West Lake Drive (by the beach) Detroit Lakes, MN


Future Cruise DL Dates: July 13th, August 10th, September 14th

Great.  A little cool on the way down but no wind on the beach and the sun came out after we got there. Emily and I shared a pizza with Myron at Zorbas......yummmmm.......

They filled the parking they had set aside for cars so I would say the turnout was better than expected. I am planning on going next month too. I loaded 40 pics to my Facebook.

A perfect venue for a cruise night. I'm glad these are getting more popular.
