Wanted / Summer "Driver"
« on: January 16, 2012 3:51 PM »
Since the “A” won't be done this summer, I'm looking for a reliable driver 1964 and older. Not real concerned with body and interior, but don't want a rust bucket. Something safe that will cruise at highway speeds. Any make/model considered. Reasonably priced $5-7 grand range. $100 bill for a successful lead. PM or email me. Thanks...Jake.

The chop went well. A lot of work, but came out good.  All that was left was a little welding. Probably got a bit more done than  I've seen in some of the other classes.

This is an old post from the Ford Barn that popped up a couple days ago. Some of you may have seen it, but it's pretty cool. A shame it isn't intact any more.

« on: November 12, 2010 9:32 PM »
If any one is interested I took a pile of SEMA pics and posted them on our facebook page.

Not all, but many are traditional cars/trucks. There are two sets.

This link should get you there without being a facebook member. If you are a member hit the "like" button and you'll get future updates on the program.

General Discussion / Winfield's bar stools.
« on: November 10, 2010 3:01 AM »
Here's a pic of the bar stools I padded and upholstered for Gene's museum house.  He's building a soda fountain called Windy's in one room. The girl on the right is kind of scary, but what can I say...not my pic. Pic was taken at the Winfield/Watson show at Genes last month. Wish I had been there.

HD Theater on cable if you get it.

Great stuff from the beginning. You've got to check it out. Two episodes each Tues. at 8 and 8:30 and replayed at various times again.

General Discussion / The Winfield Weekend!
« on: May 25, 2010 1:50 AM »
The Gene Winfield workshop was great. Fantastic information and Gene spews out automotive history as if it was yesterday. I thought he might be the "Energizer Bunny".  The guy never slows down and just keeps moving from one excersise to the next. Here's a few photos from the workshop.
