I have no plans at this point to stripe the scallops, but some good suggestions may change my mind....

I do have plans to pinstripe the dash and maybe some other small spaces....

I think some silver or lighter green (or both colors) striping would give it a finished look... Once it's finished.

Deb and I brought the car down to Stillwater this weekend so Jennie of Upholstery by Stich Bitch fame can work her magic and give the Merc a new interior.  For the most part, a great weekend for a road trip. Unfortunately it was raining when we dropped the car off, and I was in such a hurry to get it into her garage, that I forgot to take some pics.  However, use your imaginations to picture what it now looks like with the glass all in, the door handles on, and a proper wiring harness.

Jennie is working hard. The headliner is in, just needs to get trimmed to fit.  That is a long roof ladies and gentlemen.  It won't be long now.
