Chris, I have been trying to figure out how to post Youtube on here but can't get it to work. I see on the HAMB that you need to post it between the {yt] [/yt} tags. Is that something you need to add in order for us to use it?

Yeah, or I'd have to open up html postings.  It can open it up to attacks, but I'll take a peek and see what I can do.

Ok, just use the embed code listed on the you tube site and you should be able to post it into your, ummm, post.  Just make sure to uncheck the Disable HTML in this post check box.

I remember splicing this cut into the local advertisements at my Uncle's Drive In Theater---The "Sky-Vue" Drive-In in Warren, Minnesota.  My Mom managed the theater and my cousin ran the projectors.  I got to help splicing film and threading the projectors, cleaning and working in the concession stand and cleaning the grounds and hanging up the speakers.  I saw a lot of movies many times.

Fantastic....There will never be another Johnny!  We watch his set of tapes every once in a while.

Did you know that "Mellman" (the little guy in black glasses at the biginning) was a regular on Letterman for quite a few years and just past away a couple days ago.

Letterman had a little tribute to Mellman last night.

That pillarless sedan is the Lil Coffin.  Built in the early 60's, I think.  It was brought back to life in the last few years.  One of the mags did a feature on it in the last couple of years.  Do a search for it and you'll probably come up with all the info.  Nice color on the motor!

If you're interested, there are three more segments to the vid. Go to youtube.com and search Piston Poppers (Montreal car club) and you should come up with them.

I got a kick out of every one in suits/ties at the awards.  That was the early 60's.

 :)

The car pictured above is a clone.  The original, as far as I believe, was rebuilt and "up dated" in the late 80's or 90's and is now a street rod in a museum.

Went to see Wayne Hancock last friday night, and Brian Setzer just so happened to be there hanging out and watching the show too, so I got to meet him, and when Wayne hollered for the waitress to bring him a coke, Brian brought him one instead, and he about shit his pants. Wayne handed over his guitar to Brian and the jammed on a couple songs. It was priceless, and truly a night I wont forget, just one of those right place at the right time things. anyways, I got some videos from the show that night, here are the ones with Brian on stage.

Only twice! I had to look at it a second time just to try to believe what I saw the first time. Wow. If that doesn't slow you down, nothing will. I don't think seat belts did anyone in there any good.

Here's a little ditty from the past.  I don't know if the video makes me feel nostalgic, but I do feel something from it...Just can't put my finger on it.  And sure, it's not easter time yet, but ah well.

This video was also posted on the HAMB, but it is still fun to watch a big boat of a Galaxie beat up on a Porsche 911.  Also, when was the last time you saw a RH drive Galaxie.
