West Fargo Cruise Night
« on: July 14, 2010 11:20 PM »
I stopped by the Hot Rod Shop of Fargo today to see what was in the works and Cody (projectcar) gave me a flyer for West Fargo's cruise night.  I can't make it tomorrow, (Thursday the 15th from 5-9) but I hope to be able to make it next month.  Just what the FM area needs- another reason to get out and cruise! Is anyone else going?

pinstriper, thanks for stopping in yesterday and reminding me to post.  There is a cruise night on Sheyenne St in West Fargo from Main to 7th ave. Main area will be around the VFW and Silver dollar. There will be door prises and a nice long street to cruise. The event is from 4:30 - 9:00. With the nice weather today, we are hoping to see some nice cars out there tonight.

Thanks Cody

Yea! Twice....then found a "safe" parking spot. At the end of the night someone tried to go around some the the parking cones and slammed into another car so hard it pushed it into another one......then the guy took off.......two guys jumped in a early 60's Camaro and followed him and caught him just as he was closing his garage door....didn't hear if he was just stupid or drunk and stupid.

Pushed the front end of a mid sixties buick(?) into the door of a beautiful black '57 chevy post. I heard the loud crunch from about 40 feet away and the dude pulled into my view and turned in front of me as i walked across the street. Then a '69 camaro zoomed around and asked where he went. I told him and he took off. Pretty exciting for a night in West Fargo. Everybody kinds stood around the '57 with a sick look on their faces. Sad.

This weekend in Dickinson on the poker run I parked my '28 at the end of a driveway at one of the poker stops. The daughter of the guy who owns the place  opens the garage door and back into the '28 hitting my tire with her bumper on her camaro. No damage to my car, I never saw her car. She never looked had to be at least 40 feet between where I was parked and the end of the garage. There were cars parked allover as it was a poker stop.

I dont know if anyone has heard anything else on the incident, but I guess things 'went smoothly' for the WF Cruise Night:

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up, We are are having another cruise night is West Fargo. August 19 4:30 - 9:00. Last month it was a great showing, tons of cars and nice weather. Hopefully we will have good weather again and no car wrecks. That sucked. I never heard what he was charged. I heard he was in his 70's and was drinking. He did have an old car, but I don't know what it was.
Anyways hope to see some suedes there.

Thanks
Cody
