That wagon is pretty sweet-  when I get my forty done (and I have to get some pictures of the multi-primered progress of that project on the site) I have a '59 country sedan that I think I"m just gonna get running and drive the piss out of.  sweet.

the flathead alone is worth 450 if it's decent, and yes, that model A guy is on some sort of mind-altering-everything is made of unobtanium drug.

Hey guys- I found a Wildcat with one of those torquemonster "445" 401 Nailheads the other day, and it had the finned drums and stuff too- just seeing if anyone has parts for that motor in this club- don't really know what / if it will need anything.  Thanks!

Hey, thanks guys for the warm welcome- I'll be running the hydro behind the rocket-I know, I know, it's heavy as hell, but I got the engine and tranny for fifty bucks, so i'll use it.  Cj- I'll bring my striping stuff to the drags- lay down some lines on the side!

Newbie Intros / Hello

Hey Everybody- I'm Joel Davis-  I sorta intro'd in the "For Sale" forum-  shoulda been payin' more attention. I've got a 1940 ford tudor that I'm workin' on-  it'll be hot rod black with flames and stripes by yours truly-  Flathead powered of course, with dual carbs, headers, updated ignition courtesy of Bruce Garberg, and lots of acorn nut caps to attract those who like all things shiny.  Next I got a '31 Model A, which'll be chopped and dropped with a REAL 324 rocket in it- none of that fauxmobile shit. Being the ripe old age of 19, I gotta get done with college first so I have money for parts.  I stripe anything that holds still long enough, so if anyone's interested- there ya go.  Check out the For Sale forum for that-  Hope to see you guys around fargo- I'll definetly hit up your nostalgia drags and future shows!  - Joel-

For Sale / Pinstriping
« on: August 10, 2006 8:29 PM »
Hey Suedes Members- I went to one of the shows in Fargo this summer with Bruce Garberg and his '36 ford coupe- I have to say that I'm very impressed with the quality of your hot rods-  I myself am building a '40 ford tudor sedan- flattie and all- and have acquired a skill in the process- Pinstriping!  I don't know if any of you have checked out my work on Bruce's flat black cruiser- but I've had a few jobs since and it only gets better- if anyone is interested- I charge much less than proffesional guys, and I go to college at Moorhead state, so I'm around the f-m area 9 months out of the year- otherwise I'm in Fergus Falls, which still isn't too far away.  Just throwing an idea out there as we all know that nothing sets a car off better than killer stripes. (and wheels) My number is 218-770-5795 if anyone's interested!  Thanks for taking your time to read this and spread the good word!  Thanks- Joel-
