Update, got the body on the frame. I had to cut the subrail in the rear to drop the body over the frame.   This allowed me to make sure the x-member is in a good location for the clutch and brake pedals and so I could make sure of the location for the wishbones to tie into.

Todd- I think racerj and yourself should have  a "roadster-off" and see who can get theirs driving first....it would be close!

Holy crap no building going on since Sept of 07

Well since I was able to go out to the shed today I decided to attach my inner deck lid structure to the skin.  I used a decklid skin from Howells and the inner stucture from Brookville.  I had Glen Braunberger punch the louvers in the fresh skin.  Well here are a few pics.

Lookin good Todd.  I've always loved louvers in a deck lid.  I just always wondered how you keep the trunk dry?

Not too much happening here, got my 32 shell for the roadster and the sill plates arrived to day. Edit I guess they messed up the order so only one sill plate is correct, the other is for something else.

Ok, I got the engine mounted and now I am working on the transmission mount.  I removed my x member that I had tacked in and have a different plan anyway here is how it is looking.
