i g0t a sedan that was mostly done
the other guy made a 2x4 front headder for front, may have been installed before visor, i finished mounting it, got some corner braces holding it together better than he did it
on the side you is gonna have to get the original parts cut otta something else and weld back in then i cut 1x4 for a tack strip and mounted mostly with drywall and larger screws
why do you want the original wood in rooof?? you should be able to put wires in the headliner, i have a caravan roof with cross ribs and maybee you need to put some cross ribs of metal under the roof too
rember I did not build all of my roof so i dont know what the other guy did, but just modified it so i can finish it someday and it takes a long time to cut and finish wood, but a good fitting front headderw corner braces shoiuld help held things together
the side top wood i tries to put in in one piece but after a long struggle i had to cut the front piece at the line of the rear of the door and do it 2 piece
you will need a table saw to taper the wood on sides, and proabbly a bandsaw to do front headder
if you want to look at mein i have it in ada and will be at shop on friday from 10 to 4 for amy auction sale showing
