Stephan, I have two questions that you prolly answered already but I couldnt rember for sure...Are those the stock chevy headlite rims and what is your plan for taillights? I have looked at hundreds of different taillight treatments on 51-52 chevs and I'm having trouble finding something that looks good and hasnt been used a hundred times before. The closest I've seen that I like are 41 stude lights...just wundering what you got planned?

The trim rings are stock without trimming the lip of the bucket. Taillights will be what I believe are 56 chevy lenses I got from other Ryan mounted in roughly the same place that 50 Pontiacs were. Stude lights are cool, I passed around the idea of doing a bumper guard treatment too before deciding on the 56s.

A productive Sunday, inner trunk panel is all welded in place. Here is the tailpan patch tacked into place. It looks much better than I thought it would ever come out. Prettyboyhats and pinstriper40 have been more than helpful to me, thanks guys.

Great job Stefan- you should be very proud of the work you've done so far! That tailpan is an excellent piece!

Here are some pictures lagging from past and a more current work. My tailpan is all completed, and I have nosed my hood.

Yesterday I made the first cut into the floor, and then another and another. I knew they were bad and it just sucks uncovering it all. But, out with the bad in with the good. Sorry no pics, but its not pretty.

Soon to come will be rear quarter patches, rockers and floors.

Brakes? You only need those if you want to stop.

Haven't finished my brake work, need new cylinders and then fill the lines and bleed.

If I can get everything mechanical nailed down and all my paper work straightened out, then yes I would love to take it down. It would be in spot primer which doesn't bother me at all.
