Mr. Colorado's '59 Thunderbird

Some of you may know that I've come up with another car. I wasn't looking for it, nor did I expect to be able to make the purchase, but everything fell into place and I am now able to call this old bird my own. It was purchased in Kansas in 1959 by a woman, who had it for forty years before selling it to a man who didn't drive it for 15 years.
It needs some work here and there, so the first things to get taken care of will be the headliner, exhaust leak, and tires. I hope to make these improvements by the beginning of next year. The headliner stitching has come undone on the front seam, so a new headliner will be installed. The leaking stock exhaust system will be replaced by a set of Porter steel packs and bellflower tips, and the tires will be replaced with a set of wide whites and four bar lancer caps, with the wheels being painted a dark green.  I will leave the remainder of the body and interior in 'as is' condition until the aforementioned duties have been fulfilled. For now, it's a driver!

Was good to see you this weekend.

How many miles on the old bird?

I think there should be a better way.
