Thanks guys. I actually thought tech week had ended on Sat. when I posted that on Sun. Then I saw some of the posts and figured it out - it started on a Wed. :o

I was just calculating how long ago I took SSS auto body and upholstery looks like it is 40 to 41 years ago and I seem to have forgot a lot of it
still can hammer a tractor seat together with some hospital corners..
wished I had the 57 chev 4 door that I button tufted in 68 or 69, instructors were mad that I did not paint it in school, finally shot it tourquiose one day when I was broke and it sold quick for a good price proabbly about $500 in about 1970
some of the things that we did there were pretty memorable, custom painted [lace] on the side of top on my 1968 Impala custom coupe, another student in my class did it and it was nice, I later metalflaked it and wife #1 totaled the car

Well Jake, I see you didn't win, but at least it was something related to upholstery.

After realizing it was part of tech week, it was a lot of fun and evidently some people got some info out of it. And it got me fairly proficient moving around on the HAMB.
I'll have to try put one together for next time.
Thanks for all the positive comments. :)

Nice job!! I enjoyed the tech post and it seems like a lot of HAMBers did too.
Many more to come, I hope.
