So one thing I found at '50s last weekend. Too DAMNED many flat black Studebakers. I'm not ready to commit to a full paint job right now, still lots I want to change/fix/customize on the car. Just looking for something different. Just looking for some thoughts and ideas you may have. Im really thinking of something with flake in it. Either Gold, Ivory or Copper. For those that may not know the car, here it is in its current state...

I liked the white one you posted somewhere a while back with the hard top.

Ya with a copper two tone.
-
Yeah, I like that one, too. Just seeing if anyone has an idea that Im not thinking of...

Don't have enough skills to Photoshop anything but a Watson style paint job would look killer on a bullet nose in my opinion...

I think a maroon would be nice...

Emerald green with gold

Cream with copper. Candy rootbeer over gold. Then again there is always purple

Cream with Orange! I was going to do a 41 with that scheme.........
-
Bring back the pink flames! ;-)
Gold with white might look nice...
-
Copper base on bottom and copper with medium copper flake on top. And rootbeer kandy fogged edges!

On one of those build shows on TV, I saw an episode where they copper plated the bright work and the rims, I thought it was pretty damn cool, I wanted to try and do that on the f100 with black paint, johnny keeps talking me out of liking that idea, but even with the extra upkeep, the plating would really set it off more than paint, even on the bullet nose if you contrasted the electroplating against the chromebetween the outer ring and center.
